ReplyDeleteThe green thing is a glass ball -- back before the times of plastic, fishing nets were held up by glass balls which floated. They have kept floating around the ocean, and so wash up sometimes on shore (with tons of plastic, which isn't nearly as pretty!) I saved this one for my daughter.
